What we collect

From Google, when you sign in

Your email address, your Google account ID, and your Google profile photo. We never see your Google password.

What you enter

• Net worth check-ins: amounts by category (cash, investments, property, debts, and so on), dates, and any notes.
• Assets you track, such as stock or crypto holdings and property values.
• Goals you set.
• Profile details you choose to add: display name, age range, income range, occupation, education, cost of living, and how often you update.
• Anything you post on the community board: public entries, comments, likes, and who you follow.

We don't ask for bank logins or connect to your bank accounts.

How we use it

• Your dashboard. To show your net worth, charts, goals, and history.
• Anonymous rankings. Your latest total counts toward community percentiles ("Where you stack up"). Rankings only appear for groups of at least 10 members, and nobody can see your individual figures through them.
• Community charts. Your latest total counts toward median net worth by age and income range on the community board. A group is only shown once it has at least 10 members, and its member count is hidden below that.
• Biggest movers. If you share check-ins publicly, the change between your last two public check-ins can appear in the movers list. Private check-ins are never used for this.
• Prices. To look up current prices for assets you track.
• Keeping you signed in and keeping the service secure.

What's public

Everything is private by default. If you mark an entry public, it appears on the community board with your display name and the profile details listed above (age range, income range, occupation, education, cost of living, and update rhythm), along with how many followers you have. Who follows whom is not shown to anyone. Your email and photo are never shown publicly. You can make a public entry private again, or delete it, at any time from your dashboard.

Who else handles your data

• Cloudflare hosts the site and stores its database.
• Google handles sign-in and serves the site's fonts.
• CoinGecko and Yahoo Finance provide price data. We send them only ticker symbols, never anything about you.

We don't sell or rent your information, and we don't use advertising or third-party tracking.

Cookies and browser storage

We use two sign-in cookies to keep you logged in; the site can't work without them. Your light/dark theme choice is saved in your browser. There are no advertising or analytics cookies.

Keeping and deleting your data

We keep your data while your account exists. You can delete individual check-ins from your dashboard at any time; deleting one also removes its comments and likes. To delete your whole account and everything in it, email arvinvitug@gmail.com from the address you sign in with, and we'll remove it.

Security

The site is served only over HTTPS, and sign-in uses signed, HTTP-only session cookies. No system is perfectly secure, but we collect as little as we need to run the service.

Children

Wealth Journey isn't intended for anyone under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
